Sizing For Replacing Your Tires
If you are replacing tires on a Levy scooter, match the tire type and size carefully. Solid tire replacements and pneumatic/tubed tire replacements follow different rules.
8.5-inch solid tires: Levy no longer sells 8.5-inch solid replacement tires. If your Levy scooter or rim previously used the smaller 8.5-inch solid tire, order the 10-inch solid tire instead. The 10-inch solid tire works on Levy rims/wheels that previously used the smaller 8.5-inch solid tire.
For the 10-inch solid tire, use the tire product page here and choose the 10" x 2.125" Solid Tire option.
For rear tire replacements, installing a loose solid tire can be difficult. The easier option is often the pre-mounted 10-inch solid rear wheelset, available here.
Pneumatic/tubed tires: Do not use the 10-inch solid tire guidance for pneumatic tires or inner tubes. If the customer is replacing a tubed/pneumatic setup, match the tire and inner tube to the scooter wheel size, or use the inner tube product page here.
