What happens if the scooter malfunctions?
All rental scooters are equipped with onboard telematics that report any internal malfunctions and will be reported to Levy. If we determine that a scooter has an existing malfunction we will remotely disable it to prevent it from being used on future trips.
We also ask users to report any problems through the app at the end of each trip.
If the a part breaks or is damaged during a trip, Levy is able to provide spare parts for common wear and tear issues. If the scooter is more significantly damaged and is no longer operational, we will work with partners on replacing the unit and having the non-functional scooter shipped back to us.
