Maintaining your Electric Scooter Brakes
Overtime, you may need to adjust your brake to either tighten or loosen friction against the disc in order to optimize braking power. You can do this by using the 5mm wrench included with your scooter and following the instructions here.
It's also important that you keep your rear brake caliper clean and free of debris. While the Levy is waterproof in rain, wet / salty roads can corrode the brake line and components if not cared for properly. We recommend a simple lubricant like WD-40 to periodically clean and lubricate the brake line and components that can become dirty:
