How does Insurance work with Levy Fleets?
We aren’t able to provide direct coverage for you or add you as an additional insured. That being said, we do structure our contracts with both operating partners and end users to limit you from any liability as best we can.
For our agreement with you, we would hold you harmless to any incidents that occurred while a user was renting one of these scooters. That means if Levy were to be sued as the service provider our attorneys / insurance company won’t attempt to bring you into any lawsuits by naming you as a responsible party.
Furthermore, our rental agreement with end users restricts them to only engaging with Levy Electric Inc for any claims related to use of the scooters, whether that’s a direct lawsuit or through arbitration, they are waiving their ability to include additional parties.
