Mulberry is an insurance technology company that has built a marketplace of top-rated insurers. Mulberry enables Levy Electric Scooters to offer our customers great product protection coverage with a rapid claims experience. We work closely with Mulberry to manage our protection plan program.
What’s included in the Mulberry Protection Plan?
Mulberry Protection Plans offer an extension of the manufacturer warrantee providing you with a full 1 or 2 years of coverage, as well as coverage on your battery whether that be a repair or replacement.
Your Mulberry Protection Plan does not cover:
- Products that are delivered damaged
- Flat Tires
- Cosmetic damage, like scratches, that don’t impact the product’s functionality
- Damage from third-party installation of a product
- Loss or theft
- Natural disasters of weather exposure
- Claims not filed within 30 days of incident

When does the Mulberry Protection Plan begin and end?
Mulberry accident coverage is active starting on the day your product is delivered through the end of your contract. The extended warranty begins on the day the limited warranty expires and ends 1 or 2 years from the date of delivery.

Do I qualify for Mulberry Protection Plan options?
The Mulberry Protection Plan is available to you if all of the following are true:
- You are a customer in the United States of America (excluding territories)
- You purchased directly from Levy Electric (online or an official Levy Electric store)
- Your order was placed on or after July 2021
- You purchased an eligible product (The Levy Electric Scooter or Levy Plus Electric Scooter)
How do I purchase a protection plan?
Mulberry protection can be purchased at checkout online at levyelectric.com. At purchase, options for 1 and 2 year plans will be available.
If you choose not to purchase insurance at check out that's alright. You'll get an email including info on upgrading your plan at any time within the 30 days of receiving your scooter.
When are you ineligible to purchase a Mulberry Protection Plan
- You cannot purchase a protection plan after an accident occurs.
- You cannot purchase a protection plan after 30 days from the product’s delivery date.
How can I file a claim?
Filing claims has become more streamlined following the introduction of Mulberry's new, seamless Rapid Claims experience. Claims are submitted through their website, and email response is guaranteed within 12 hours of submission.
Can I file multiple claims?
Yes, you can file multiple claims using your Mulberry Protection Plan during the course of the contract’s term. You are covered for multiple repairs up to the value of the original product purchase price.
If your claim is approved for a replacement product, then your contract is void. You will have the option to purchase a new protection plan for your replacement through Mulberry.
Is there a deductible?
There are no deductibles and no hidden fees.
Is the Mulberry Protection Plan transferable?
Yes, your plan can be transferred through your own dedicated Mulberry customer portal created after product insurance is purchased
Does this Plan provide coverage for theft or lost items?
No, this Plan does not cover for loss or theft.
Can the Mulberry Protection Plan be canceled?
Yes, plans may be canceled. Reimbursement will be prorated based on time remaining on the contract and reduced by value of any claims previously covered. A full refund is available if the cancellation is made within 30 days of purchase.
