Where can I ride the scooters?

Scooters are permitted on bike lanes, but should never be riding on sidewalks.  In New York, operation is prohibited on certain public greenways with high pedestrian traffic, including the West Side Greenway & East River Park.

Scooters can be safely operated on the bike paths of the Manhattan - Brooklyn bridge connections.

If a bike path is not available the scooter should be operated near the right-hand curb or edge of the roadway or upon a usable right-hand shoulder.  Multiple riders should always stay single file.
