Step-by-Step Guide for Rebooting IoT Devices and Retrieving Modem Logs with ZK_Series_Manage_Tool
Preparation
1. Tools Needed:
•A laptop/PC with ZK_Series_Manage_Tool installed (Windows 10 recommended).
•The IoT USB Debugging Cable.
2. Connecting the Device:
•Connect the IoT device to the scooter or e-bike.
•Plug the USB debugging cable from the IoT device into your computer.
Rebooting the IoT Device
1. Open ZK_Series_Manage_Tool:
•Launch the ZK_Series_Manage_Tool software on your computer.
•Select the correct COM port.
•Enter the password (default passwords are “ZK102” or “Okai”).
•Click “Try to Connect.”
•Wait for the connection process to complete and look for a “Success” message.
2. Enter Command Mode:
•Once connected, press CTRL+L on your keyboard to open the RawComView command prompt.
3. Send Reboot Command:
•In the RawComView command line, type AT+QFCT=0803.

5. Reconnect to Server:
•After rebooting, wait 2-10 minutes to allow the IoT device to reconnect to your server.
•Troubleshooting: If the device does not reconnect, proceed to the next steps to retrieve modem logs.
Retrieving Modem Logs for Troubleshooting
1. Return to Command Prompt:
•In the RawComView prompt, type AT+UARTLOG=9,MODEM.
•Click “Send” to start logging the modem data.
2. Save Modem Logs:
•Wait 5-10 minutes to collect sufficient log data.
•Click “Save” to store the modem logs in a text file.
•This log file can be sent to OKAI engineers for further troubleshooting.
3. Stop Logging:
•Type AT+UARTLOG=0,MODEM in the command line to stop logging.
•Click “Send” and wait for a response.
•After confirming the logging has stopped, close the RawComView prompt.
Additional Troubleshooting Tips
1. Password Errors:
•If you receive a password error, double-check that the IoT device is in the correct mode. If necessary, switch modes or re-enter the correct password.

2. Device Wake-Up Failures:
•If a “Device wake up fail” message appears, ensure all cables are connected properly as per the setup instructions.
Insert Image Here: (Include an image illustrating correct cable connections to avoid wake-up failures.)
3. Software Crashes:
•If the software closes unexpectedly, download and install the PL2303-Prolific_DriverInstaller_v1200 driver on your PC.
