With Plans and Codes, you can configure different taxes and discounts for your customers. You can also use Plans and Codes to assign customers to different user groups (Locations) and Channels.
You can map many use cases such as referrals, promotions, etc. and a plan is always required for registration. To make your service available for your customers, at least one Default Plan must be available.

Create Plan:

Add Plan:
In this settings, you can define Title, Nonrecurring Fee (that the customer has to pay), Bonus Credits (that the customer receives), Referral Bonus Credit (that the customer that referred this customer receives), the Plan description, the Plan Type (you can see all types in the Overview above) and the activation state.

Create Code:

You can either create single Codes or Codes in Bulk:
There are the same settings, but you can also specify the prefix of the code in the Bulk Option. This prefix is determined by the first variable of your code.
At "Number of Codes to Generate" you choose how many codes are created.
Basic Code Settings:
Here you can define Title, Type, and Name of your code. There are four types of Codes available:
Time Frame To Use Promotion Code:
Here you can define the valid start and end time of the code.
IMPORTANT: This is not the Credit Expiration Date! This is just the time frame where the code can be redeemed. These timings are in UTC timezone.
Conditions:
Here you can define how often this code can be redeemed. You can also assign a Plan here.
IMPORTANT: It is mandatory to assign a compatible Plan here. The Plan defines the credit value and the nonrecurring fee that the customer receives.
Example Location Assignment:
1. Create a Plan:
First, define your conditions for your plan so you can later assign it to a Promotion Code.
2. Create a Code:
After setting up your code conditions you can also set up the location which is going to be assigned to this customer. By typing in this code in the registration process, this "hidden" plan will appear.
Channel & Customer:
Here you can define if a single channel or location should be assigned to the customer. You can also give the customer a particular Customer ID.
Credit Voucher Expiration:
Here you can define the Voucher Expiration Duration (in minutes) and the Voucher Max Expiration Time (a particular date, in UTC.).
